Lyric Wall Art & the Birthday of Hawai'i

This week I tried Elsie's DIY lyric wall art with my thrifted painting I was trying to get rid of. These set of words are actually a song title by the band Brand New (which I've never heard of before)... An episode of One Tree Hill was named after this song, and plus, it just says everything about me and my room. It's my quiet place where I go to think and come up with new ideas.
I love it but I think on the next one I'll choose different lettering. It was easy to make! Go try it!

I hope all my lovelies have an awesome Friday and weekend! Today is Statehood Day (Admissions Day) here in Hawai'i; 52 years ago on August 21, 1959 (the holiday falls on the Friday is the 21st is in the weekend) Hawaii became apart of America.
Amurrr-ica.
Now we have Wal-Mart's and AT&T.
The least America can do is give us Ikea and Olive Garden!

Anyways, I'm happy for my freedom and to apart of America.
Happy Birthday Hawai'i. I looooooooooove you.

XO

  2. It looks fabulous! I did something really similar here. So funny, I also named it "Lyric Wall Art."

Love your blog! I'm a new follower.
